Our inspiration: building a haven for healing
Monarch Acres was founded after years of working with children and realizing that many aren’t difficult; they’re often overwhelmed and don’t feel safe. Through both professional experience and a personal healing journey, I witnessed how profoundly environment affects the ability to heal.
True change doesn’t come from pressure or clinical settings, but through safety, connection, and consistency. Monarch Acres is our answer to this need: a faith-centered, home-based environment where children can heal through nature, animals, and nurturing relationships, rediscovering their true selves.
Creating a safe and expressive space
At Monarch Acres Ministries, we prioritize creating a sanctuary where children feel truly free, safe, and empowered to be themselves. Our sessions are designed to allow children to express their emotions and thoughts in healthy and creative ways, fostering an environment of trust and acceptance.
We believe that when children feel secure, they can explore, grow, and heal. Our trauma-informed, play-based mentoring provides the tools and freedom for healthy emotional development, allowing each child to thrive.

We envision a place where children and families can experience lasting healing through immersion in nature, interaction with animals, and the cultivation of safe, supportive relationships.
